On 5 July 2023, in Cooperation with Universitas Andalas (UNAND), Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT) held a public lecture title “Enhancing Agriculture and Agribased Industry Development Through IMT-GT Cooperation”.

The public lecture, delivered by Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, shared the information on the development of the subregional cooperation to the Agriculture and Agribased Industry in the subregion. It emphasizes the significance of two crucial commodities, palm oil and rubber, alongside the establishment of IMT-GT Palm Oil Cooperation and Rubber Cities in Sei Mangkei (Indonesia), Kedah (Malaysia), and Songkhla (Thailand). Additionally, the students were captivated by the alluring prospects of CIMT’s internship program, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to participate and embark on an enriching journey of professional growth and development.
