25 August 2025 — CIMT organised the Online Talk Series “Next Gen IMT-GT: Youth Voices for Subregional Inclusive Growth” together with the University of Riau (UNRI) and Universiti Teknologi Mara (Chair of UNINET).
The session featured insights from CIMT, UiTM, and UNRI, and engaged students across the IMT-GT network to share perspectives on youth participation in IMT-GT initiatives, reinforcing the role of young voices in shaping the subregion’s future. More than 150 participants joined the online talk series, making it one of IMT-GT’s biggest online-talk crowd.
