The Physical Connectivity Projects (PCPs) are the cornerstone of IMT-GT’s integration agenda, designed to improve transport, logistics, and mobility across borders. PCPs support economic corridor development and directly contribute to IMT-GT’s transport and trade facilitation goals.
Each PCP addresses a specific connectivity gap—by road, rail, air, or sea—enhancing access to markets and stimulating investment across member provinces and states. These projects are implemented through collaboration among national governments, local authorities, and development partners such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

PCPs are closely coordinated with the Working Group on Transport Connectivity (WGTC) and serve as catalysts for economic corridor integration, trade expansion, and people-to-people exchange across the IMT-GT subregion.
