The Centre for Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle Subregional Cooperation (CIMT) had successfully conducted its 15th IMT-GT Strategic Planning Meeting (SPM) Breakout Sesson on Working Group of Transport Connectivity (WGTC), on 1st April 2022.
The breakout session on WGTC was chaired by the Head of Delegation Malaysia, Dr. Rosbi binti Abd. Rahman, Under Secretary from Strategic Planning and International Division for Ministry of Transport Malaysia. Also in the breakout session was the Head of Delegation Indonesia, Mr. Fikry Cassidy, Head of Centre for Partnership and International Organisation for Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Head of Delegation Thailand, Mr. Prapatpaow Awakul, Director of International Affairs Division from the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Transport Thailand, Director of CIMT, Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, and Mr. Mohammad Akhir bin Abdul Rahman, Deputy Director of CIMT.
During the breakout session on WGTC, the WG members took the chance to briefly update on the ongoing progresss, and proposed new projects/programmes under the WGTC strategic framework. All new projects/programmes proposed and ongoing projects that have been aligned with the WGTC strategic framework, is expected to be implemented under the new Implementation Blueprint (IB) 2022-2026.
