On 14 September 2020, 3rd IMT-GT E-Commerce Convergence Meeting was conducted virtually and attended by IMT-GT member countries, IMT-GT Joint Business Council, CIMT and related agencies. The meeting was chaired by Datin Anna Amalina Imam Baweh, Deputy Undersecretary, Communications Technology Division, Ministry of Communications and Multimedia, Malaysia. The meeting update on the progress of the e-commerce platform projects.  The main focus of the project is to assist the MSMEs in the subregion to leverage digital technology and tap into the potential e-commerce market not only in the IMT countries, but also beyond.
