Director of the Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, was invited as one of the speakers in the Asia-Pacific Climate Week (APCW) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on 17 November 2023.

APCW provide a platform for policymakers, practitioners, businesses and civil society to exchange on climate solutions, barriers to overcome and opportunities realised in different regions.

During the session, CIMT also took the opportunity to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with ICLEI – Local Government for Sustainability on Collaboration for Fostering Sustainable Development in the IMT-GT Subregion.

The signing of the MoU signifies CIMT’s commitment to strengthen collaboration with strategic partners to accelerate the implementation of projects and programmes related to climate change and environment in the subregion.
