Following the outcome of the 17th IMT-GT Chief Ministers and Governors Meeting to accelerate the implementation of projects under IMT-GT Implementation Blueprint 2017-2021, CIMT in collaboration with Danish Energy Efficiency Partners (DEEP) and IMT-GT Joint Business Council (JBC) convened a virtual event entitled “Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Energy Efficiency with DEEP: Exploring Joint Project with IMT-GT Member Countries.”
The main objective of the meeting is to obtain in-depth information on concepts, perceptions, and ideas of the group in exploring the possible collaboration on energy efficiency between IMT-GT, particularly local governments and DEEP as the partner.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, Director of CIMT. The meeting was also attended by Hon. Mrs. Netty Muhami, Assistant Deputy Minister for Regional and Sub Regional Economic Cooperation, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Indonesia; Dato’ Ar. Yew Tung Seang, Mayor of Penang City; representatives from National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) Thailand; Chief Ministers and Governors Forum (CMGF) Thailand, and other government representatives from IMT-GT provinces and cities.
