15 January 2026— IMT-GT took part in the Thailand Boat Festival 2026, held from 15–18 January 2026 at Phuket Boat Lagoon Marina, showcasing the subregion’s growing potential in marine and yacht tourism.
Throughout the festival, IMT-GT delegates participated in morning talk sessions, community-based tourism visits, panel discussions, marina inspections, and networking sessions. These engagements provided a platform to share perspectives on yacht tourism promotion, and exploring opportunities to strengthen maritime connectivity across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
The programme reflects IMT-GT’s commitment to positioning the subregion as a quality marine tourism destination—combining sustainability, connectivity, and people-to-people exchange in one shared journey.
