17 November 2025 — IMT-GT continued strengthening agricultural capacity-building through the training programme “Smart Farm Technology: Smart Choice of Young Farmer and Economic Herb Production and Propagation Management Throughout the Value Chain,” held from 17–21 November 2025 in Serdang, Selangor.
Organised by Malaysia’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM), the programme brought together 69 participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand—including young farmers, agropreneurs, and agricultural extension officers.
Through classroom sessions, country reports, and field visits, participants explored smart farming applications, herbal production systems, and climate-resilient practices. The initiative supports IMT-GT’s commitment to inclusive growth, sustainable agriculture, and the ASEAN Vision Towards 2045.
