11th June 2020 | the 2/2020 IMT-GT UNINET Video Conference Core Team Meeting on May 11th was conducted to discuss the preparation for 2nd UNINET Council Meeting and strengthen UNINET’s role as think-tank in IMT-GT subregional cooperation. The expansion of UNINET membership and preparation on potential programmes/activities under UNINET was also discussed in this virtual meeting. The IMT-GT UNINET Core Team consists of National Coordinators from three countries namely Syiah Kuala University for Indonesia, Universiti Teknologi Mara for Malaysia and Thaksin University for Thailand.

The video conference were presided by Dr. Hizir Sofyan, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relation Affairs, Syiah Kuala University, Aceh, Indonesia. It was attended by Dr. Hajah Zainab Mohd Noor, Director Office of International Affairs, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam, Malaysia; Dr. Thaweesak Putsukee, Assistant to the President for International Relations, Thaksin University, Songkhla, Thailand; Dr. Muzailin Affan, Chairman Office of International Affairs, Syiah Kuala University, Dr. Idaya Husna Mohd, Head of International Cooperation, Training and Development, Universiti Teknologi Mara and Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, Director of CIMT.
