10 September 2026, Medan — Ministers from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand convened in Medan, Indonesia, for the 32nd IMT-GT Ministerial Meeting.
The IMT-GT Ministers reviewed the outcomes of the 33rd IMT-GT Senior Officials’ Meeting and 23rd Chief Ministers’ and Governors’ Forum, and provided key insights and recommendations for advancing IMT-GT cooperation.
The Ministers also adopted the 32nd IMT-GT Joint Ministerial Statement and discussed preparations for upcoming IMT-GT events.
The Ministerial Meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the three Member Countries in strengthening regional cooperation, deepening economic integration, and advancing shared priorities towards a more connected and resilient IMT-GT subregion.
