30 July 2026, Medan — As part of the 5th IMT-GT University Network (UNINET) Council Meeting, delegates explored the academic and natural heritage of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) through a campus and city tour.
A highlight of the programme was a visit to the USU Arboretum, a living laboratory that supports education, research, biodiversity conservation, and environmental sustainability. The visit concluded with a symbolic tree-planting ceremony, reflecting UNINET’s shared commitment to fostering stronger regional partnerships while promoting environmental stewardship.
