19 June 2026, Putrajaya — The Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT) welcomed a delegation from the Parliamentary Cooperation Body of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (BKSP DPD RI), led by Senator Gusti Farid Hasan Aman, during its working visit to Malaysia.
The delegation was received by Mr. Muhammad Hafiz Hannibal, Deputy Director of CIMT. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the implementation of IMT-GT subregional cooperation, regional connectivity initiatives, economic integration, and efforts to accelerate the achievement of the IMT-GT Vision 2036.
The discussion reaffirmed the importance of strengthening collaboration and enhancing regional connectivity to support sustainable and inclusive development across the IMT-GT subregion.
