16 July 2026, Jakarta — #CIMTConnects: The Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT) had the honour of meeting with H.E. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Haikal Hasan, M.M.T., Head of Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH), on the sidelines of the 6th SHICTF and 20th WGHAPAS Meetings hosted by Indonesia in Jakarta.
The discussion focused on advancing WGHAPAS initiatives towards deeper trilateral cooperation, stronger private sector participation, and a more integrated halal ecosystem across the subregion.
CIMT also expressed its appreciation for Indonesia’s leadership and support in driving the halal agenda under IMT-GT, including through the upcoming IMT-GT Implementation Blueprint 2027–2031.
Together, we continue to strengthen cooperation beyond halal certification — towards a more connected, competitive and inclusive halal ecosystem.
