10 July 2026, Batam — Held on the sidelines of the 16th IMT-GT Working Group on Human Resource Development (WGHRD) Meeting, the IMT-GT Workshop: Unlocking Opportunities – Using Labour Market Insights for Skills Development and Employment Policies was organised by the Labour Market Centre, Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
The workshop brought together panelists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the World Bank and the International Labour Organization (ILO) to exchange insights on strengthening labour market information systems, promoting evidence-based employment policies, and advancing subregional collaboration towards a more competitive, resilient and future-ready workforce.
