WORKING GROUP ON AGRICULTURE AND AGRO-BASED INDUSTRY (WGAA)
The Working Group on Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry drives a sustainable, inclusive and innovative agriculture sector and a competitive agro-based industrial base. It promotes knowledge-intensive farming, develops priority industries such as rubber, palm oil, medicinal plants, and superfruits through cross-border value chains and economic zones, and embeds green, blue and circular economy principles into supply chains.

- Upstream, midstream, and downstream
OBJECTIVES
- Improve the sustainability and innovation of its agriculture sector;
- Establish priority agro-based industries (palm oil and rubber-based industries, among others); and
- Adopt green, blue, and circular economy models in the development of its agriculture and agro-based industry.
