On 25 July 2022, the Director of Centre for Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor Office of Medan and had the chance to meet Hon. Mr. Bobby Nasution. The courtesy visit was to personally thank the Mayor for Medan City’s willingness to host the 5th Indonesia Malaysia Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Green Cities Mayor Council (GCMC) Meeting, which will be held in October 2022, and briefed the Mayor on the GCMC forum, which is a part of the mechanism in IMT-GT to achieve the objectives in the IMT-GT Sustainable Urban Development Framework 2019-2036.
