On 5 February 2024, Mr. Amri Bukhairi Bakhtiar, Director of the Centre for Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle Subregional Cooperation (CIMT) along with Deputy Director Ms. Duangruetai Surasakjinda, paid a courtesy visit to the Hon. Dato’ Nor Azmie bin Diron, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economy of Malaysia. Also present during the courtesy visit were Hon. Datuk Dr. Zunika binti Mohamed, Deputy Secretary-General (Policy) of the Ministry of Economy of Malaysia, Hon. Dr. Mohd Shaharin bin Umar, Director of the Regional Development Division as well as officials from the Ministry.

The purpose of this courtesy visit was twofold – to introduce CIMT’s new management team and leadership, as well as to share CIMT’s work plan for the year to the Hon. Secretary-General and officials from the Ministry of Economy of Malaysia. CIMT also took the opportunity to receive guidance and advice from the Hon.
