Advancing the Green Agenda in the City of Seremban

On 8 January 2025, the Director of CIMT, Mr. Amri Bukhairi Bakhtiar, accompanied by YBhg. Dato’ Mahadi Mohammad, Director of IMT-GT Joint Business Council,Malaysia, paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Seremban, YBhg. Dato’ Masri bin Haji Razali.

The meeting focused on discussing initiatives to move forward the sustainability agenda in Seremban, including the development of the Green City Action Plan (GCAP) for Seremban scheduled this year. The Mayor shared valuable insights on Seremban City Council’s development plan, highlighting key priorities of the city in improving infrastructure and well-planned growth, while improving the livelihoods of the people of Seremban.

CIMT reaffirmed its commitment in supporting the Mayor and Seremban City Council by providing capacity building opportunities and facilitating financial support through the IMT-GT platform, ensuring impactful and sustainable outcomes.
