Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS) 2025 | Phuket, Thailand

CIMT participated in the Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS) 2025, held in Phuket, Thailand from January 7 to 12, 2025. TIBS is a prominent event that promotes yacht tourism and marine activities in the region, bringing together domestic and international stakeholders from the yacht tourism industry.

Ms. Duangruetai Surasakjinda, Deputy Director of CIMT, participated in the panel discussion “Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Yacht Experience for Sustainable Destination Branding” at the Thailand Yachting Conference. She was joined by esteemed representatives from Tourism Malaysia, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Sabang Free Trade Zone and Free Port/BPKS. Additionally, CIMT collaborated with tourism authorities from the IMT-GT Member Countries to organize a dedicated IMT-GT booth. The booth showcased the subregion’s unique yacht and marine tourism opportunities, promoting its potential as a prime destination for marine enthusiasts worldwide.
