2 September 2025 — The National Secretariat Meeting (NSM) was held in Trang, Thailand, ahead of the IMT-GT Ministerial Meeting week from 2 to 4 September 2025.
National Secretariats from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, together with CIMT, reviewed the preparations for the 32nd Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM), 22nd Chief Ministers’ and Governors’ Forum (CMGF), and 31st Ministerial Meeting (MM).
The meeting also discussed the outcomes of Working Group meetings, finalisation of the draft Joint Ministerial Statement, and updates on the engagement with external partners to ensure strong coordination for impactful outcomes.
