27 October – 2 November 2025 — The 24th IMT-GT Varsity Carnival 2025 opened with a vibrant celebration of culture, rhythm, and friendship as students from 12 universities across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand filled the stage with spectacular performances at Thaksin University, Songkhla Campus.
Each university showcased traditional dances and music reflecting their unique traditional heritage; a powerful display of the carnival’s theme, “Driving Glocal Citizen”, where local wisdom meets global awareness.
The IMT-GT Varsity Carnival continues to be a symbol of youth empowerment, cross-cultural exchange, and regional unity across the Growth Triangle.
