12 November 2025 — #CIMTConnects: CIMT Director Mr. Amri Bukhairi Bakhtiar joined the ASEAN Youth Fellowship (AYF) 2025 as a panelist for the session “Adapting ASEAN’s Economic Infrastructure for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future.”

Mr. Amri highlighted IMT-GT’s role as a key driver of inclusive growth, MSME empowerment, digital transformation, and sustainable urban development—strengthening subregional contributions to ASEAN’s long-term vision.

The event is an annual regional leadership programme, co-organised by the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) together with the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS). The theme of this year’s AYF is “Inclusivity and Sustainability”, in line with the Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship.
