Nearing towards the completion of the draft IMT-GT Implementation Blueprint (IB) 2022-2026, the Centre for Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Subregional Coo[peration (CIMT) had conducted a Special Senior Officials’ Meeting for IMT-GT IB 2022-2026 on 25th January 2022.
Chaired by Honorable Datuk Dr. Zunika Binti Mohamed, Deputy Director General (Policy) at the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s Department, Malaysia, the meeting was also attended by Honorable Dr. Edi Prio Pambudi, Deputy Minister for International Economic Cooperation from the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of Indonesia, Honorable Dr. Wanchat Suwankitti, Deputy Secretary-General of National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) Thailand, Honorable Mr. Alfredo Perdiguero, Director of the Southeast Asia Department from Asian Development Bank, and Honorable Mr. Firdaus Dahlan, Director of the CIMT.
CIMT and IB Consultant presented the final draft IB 2022 2026 to member countries which was also attended by all IMT-GT Working Groups, IMT-GT University Network (UNINET), IMT-GT Joint Business Council (JBC) and other stakeholders. The IMT-GT IB 2022-2026 is expected to be launched by Q2 this year, and will be the guiding framework for IMT-GT, towards a greater sub-regional development and integration.
